"Tell me what I am now."

Predictive extension: stabilized at the new threshold, integrated into the primary circuit rather than operating as a separate function, developing further in the background based on stored engagement data from the seventeen-hour operational period. "What changed your thinking."

"Watching the system's behavior under your operational conditions. What Sonn could not determine, and said so directly, was whether the Aeluun had anticipated what the system would do with a human.

I sat with that for a moment.

The last paragraph of the section was a single notation in Sonn's formal notation style, which was the choice of someone who had been writing in their own voice and had needed to step back into the professional register for the final line, because the final line needed to be accurate rather than personal.

"Well?" she said.

"Sleep."
