Tips for fiction authors

Romance novels typically run 50k–80k in 20–30 chapters. Epic fantasy often exceeds 100k in 30–50 chapters. Know your genre before planning.
Shorter chapters (2,000–3,000 words) create a page-turner feel on Kindle. Longer chapters (4,000–6,000) suit literary and epic fantasy pacing.
