Entangled Text is a fiction writing studio, not a chat subscription. Free gives you the product: projects, outlines, chapter queues, revision diffs, beta-reader links, exports, and included Free AI.
Pro unlocks Premium AI and optional personal API keys. With personal keys, you pay OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and other providers directly. We encrypt keys at rest and only use them when you generate. We do not resell your manuscript text or train third-party models on your books.
Pro is for authors who want a larger Premium pool or personal keys. It is not required to finish a novel on this site.

- You are drafting your first novel and can work at about 1–2 chapters per day on Free AI.
