LitRPG Character Sheet Generator

Fill in your hero’s status screen — stats, skills, gear, quests — then pick a layout and export. Optional AI layouts via free AI restyle presentation only; they don’t invent new character facts.

Build your status screen by hand (same flow as Story Studio’s insert block). AI is optional and only suggests alternate layouts from your fields. Export markdown, HTML, PNG, Discord, and more — or send into Story Studio.

Status screen builder

Fill the fields like Story Studio’s insert block — the preview updates live. No AI required.

About this tool

LitRPG readers love the moment the system UI appears on the page. Fill vitals, attributes, skills, and gear yourself — the same workflow as Story Studio's Insert story block. Use local layouts instantly, try optional Kestrel — Free layout variants that only restyle your facts, then export or send into Story Studio for chapter inserts.

What you can do

  • Class templates or blank sheet with vitals, attributes, skills, and gear
  • Custom sections for guild ranks, reputation, or system UI blocks
  • Local layouts — Classic, Compact, Discord, Minimal, and bordered HUD styles
  • Optional Kestrel — Free layout suggestions that restyle without inventing stats
  • Export as markdown, HTML, plain text, JSON, Discord, BBCode, or PNG
  • Browser roster saves multiple characters for series continuity
  • One-click Send to Story Studio for Insert story block handoff

Planning tools and long-form structure

Novels fail when structure is improvised scene by scene. Beat sheets, chapter planners, and blurb builders help you decide pacing and reader promises before you spend tokens on prose. Pair these tools with an outline in Entangled Text so generation follows a spine.

Tips for fiction authors

  • Kestrel — Free never invents new stats — it only reformats the fields you already filled. Verify numbers before export.
  • Use Classic for chapter inserts, Compact for mid-scene UI flashes, Discord or PNG for sharing with beta readers.
  • Custom sections cover guild ranks, reputation, or any system UI block Story Studio supports in LitRPG mode.
  • Send to Story Studio copies your sheet and opens Projects — use Insert story block → Character sheet to place it in a chapter.
  • Free users share a per-device Kestrel token budget for AI layouts only; the builder and all exports work without AI.

Common questions

Is this the same as Story Studio's character insert?

Yes — it uses the same LitRPG status-screen builder pattern as the Write tab Insert story block, plus local layouts, roster, PNG export, and multi-format download.

When does Kestrel — Free get used?

Only when you click AI layouts. The builder, local layouts, roster, and all exports work without AI.

What export formats are available?

Markdown, HTML, plain text, JSON, Discord fenced markdown, BBCode, and PNG image of the status screen.

Can I use it without an account?

Yes. Guests can build and export freely. Sign in to jump into Story Studio with a one-click handoff.

Will AI change my stat numbers?

No. AI layout mode only reformats presentation. All stats come from fields you entered manually.
