Entangled Text is a fiction-first writing studio. You outline a novel, draft chapters with included Kestrel AI, review every change in a diff-based editor, share a beta-reader link when you want outside eyes, and export EPUB or DOCX for Kindle Direct Publishing. Free, Pro, and Ultra all use platform-managed Kestrel pools — you do not paste a personal OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google key to write here.

We are not a generic chat wrapper. The product is built around long-form structure: story bibles, genre presets, chapter queues, revision history, beta-reader links, and ship checklists. Novels fail when context disappears after a few thousand words. A studio keeps the outline, the last chapter, and the constraints in one project so chapter forty still matches chapter four.

Signed-in authors work in Story Studio, which is two tabs on purpose:

• Write — Premise and genre preset, outline review, chapter drafting, polish with diffs, continuity tools, and chapter locks so an approved passage stays put when you regenerate later.
• Ship — Listing details (title, blurb, categories), cover helpers, readiness checks, beta-reader share links, and export (EPUB, DOCX, PDF, Markdown, TXT).

Free AI is paced (outline + 3 new chapters/day) so a shared queue stays fair. Edits do not burn a new-chapter slot. Pro and Ultra replace that daily gate with a monthly pool and a stronger prose model. Progress saves between sessions on every plan — you are not racing a chat window that forgets the book overnight.

Entangled Text is a writing studio, not a reading platform. In-platform story publishing is no longer available. When the manuscript is ready, you export and upload to Kindle Direct Publishing, Kobo, Apple Books, or another storefront you choose.

We publish guides with a substance bar and keep thin stubs out of the index. That is deliberate: ranking for “AI book writer” only helps if the page teaches something an author can use today.

This public site is a publisher site for fiction authors, not a doorway of near-duplicate landing pages. Our Guides exist to teach techniques you can use in the next writing session — not to farm search traffic with thin AI summaries.

How the public site is organized

• Guides — Long-form articles with prompt examples, revision checklists, and genre tactics. These are the main original articles.
• Beginner handbook — The writing-tips page is a single, substantial how-to, separate from the guides hub.
• Product pages — About, pricing, documentation, and workflow explainers describe the studio honestly (Write → Ship, included Kestrel, export for KDP).
• Free tools — Browser manuscript checkers. A smaller set of distinctive tools is indexable; near-duplicate analyzers stay live for authors but are kept out of search indexes.

We may draft guide ideas with AI assistance for speed, but drafts stay unpublished until someone on the team reviews, edits, and clicks publish. If you spot an error on a live guide, please contact us and we will correct it.

Included Kestrel AI is platform-managed. We do not resell your manuscript text or train third-party models on your books. Generation uses routing for your plan; you never paste a personal provider key into Entangled Text to write.

Free writing tools on /tools that run entirely in your browser do not upload manuscript text for analysis. Optional AI tools and signed-in history send only what that feature needs.

You can delete your account from Dashboard → Account. That permanently removes the account and associated project data, subject to the retention notes in the privacy policy (for example, billing records we are required to keep).
