He would slow down on her. He might slow down enough.
She did not plan to be the primary threat he was tracking. She planned to be the source of his slowing, while nine gifted soldiers and four infantry squads were the things he was trying to track through the slowing.

Then she set it down, because she'd gotten everything from it that it had to give, and there was no use sitting with data when the operational design was already incorporating it.
